Antler Travels: Miami

At Antler, we don’t just talk about travel – we live it. Through our stories and guides, we celebrate the places that shape our legacy and inspire our journeys. Our Antler Travels series takes you deeper into the destinations that move us, guided by the experiences and recommendations of our team – travellers who’ve ventured far and wide.

In Miami, the metropolitan skyline shimmers against lush green palms and whitewashed high rise buildings. Energy hums just beneath the surface, and the dappled light feels like nowhere else. Whether you want to pack your days with art, food, and fashion, or slow the pace with a sun-soaked afternoon by the sea, Miami invites you to choose your own tempo.

Daisy, our PR Manager, travelled to Miami in May 2025 and shares her experience with us.

Antler: What was the first thing you noticed?

Daisy: I hadn’t been to Miami in quite a few years, but I’ve always thought of it as one of my favourite destinations. As soon as I checked into my hotel and went for a walk, that same feeling came straight back. It’s a mix of colour, sunshine, and energy that just lifts your mood.

What is your lasting memory of the place?

Definitely the blue skies and palm trees. There’s something about the Miami light, it instantly puts you in a good mood.

Did anything surprise you about the place?

The laid-back lifestyle. You think of Miami as a party city, and it can be for those who want it to be. But I was surprised about how balanced it felt. I took a walk along the beach one morning around 7am and it was full of runners, walkers, people already out and about enjoying the calm. There’s this real mix of rhythm: early mornings and late nights, city buzz and slow beach days.

What did you take with you?

I travelled with the Heritage Stripe Cabin in Basalt and Heritage Tote Bag in Black, which was the perfect combination for a few days away. The cabin fits everything I needed for a short stay, and the tote made it easy to carry around what I wanted for a day out. Plus, it felt stylish enough for both travel and dinner.

If you were to go back, who would you bring with you?

My partner – Miami has everything we love. Beautiful beaches, incredible food, and amazing shopping! It’s the kind of place you can spend the whole day exploring and still feel relaxed at the end of it.
